Our company is changing its name – WEDCO Technology Group GmbH.

It´s a significant step in our company’s history: with effect from 1 October 2026, we are changing our company name from WEDCO Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H. to WEDCO Technology Group GmbH.

Our history began 35 years ago with the distribution of SUMITOMO products in Austria. Just five years later, we began manufacturing solid carbide tools ourselves. Today, we are not only one of Austria’s leading manufacturers of solid carbide tools, but above all an internationally recognised solution provider for the most demanding machining tasks.

With our new name, WEDCO Technology Group GmbH, we are reflecting this dynamic development and underlining our commitment to leading the way as an internationally active technology partner, innovation leader and reliable network for customers around the world.

Please note that this is purely a change of our company name. All legal and business master data remain unchanged:

• Company registration number, VAT number, legal form, tax number /strong> and all existing contracts remain fully valid.
• Your usual contacts will remain at your disposal with the same proven quality and reliability.

Please update your records and systems with our new company name and to use it from 1 October 2026.
