With the whistleblower system, we are setting up a reporting channel for whistleblowers. In this way, we offer our employees, business partners, customers and other stakeholders the opportunity to inform us about serious irregularities and legal violations, such as breaches of legal regulations and/or compliance rules in connection with our company, and thus contribute to their detection, whereby the whistleblowers are covered by the personal scope of protection of the HschG and may not be subject to any disadvantages due to their report. This expressly excludes unsubstantiated accusations as well as accusations and defamation against better judgement. Anonymous reports are also accepted, but should not be the rule.

The following are covered by our internal whistleblower system in accordance with § 3 (2) in conjunction with Section § (3) HSchG:

• Public procurement (e.g. bidding agreements)
• Financial services, financial products and financial markets as well as the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing
• Product safety and conformity
• Traffic safety
• Environmental protection
• Radiation protection and nuclear safety
• Food and feed safety, animal health and animal welfare
• public health
• Consumer protection
• Protection of privacy and personal data as well as security of network and information systems
• Prevention and punishment of criminal offences under §§ 302 to 309 of the Austrian Criminal Code (mainly corruption offences)
• Infringements to the detriment of the Union’s financial interests
• Infringements of internal market rules within the meaning of Article 26(2) AEUV, infringements of Union rules on competition and State aid and infringements of internal market rules in relation to acts that infringe corporate tax rules or in relation to agreements aimed at obtaining a tax advantage contrary to the object or purpose of corporate tax law.
