Please note that data transmission via Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). This Data Protection Statement informs you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

In general, the use of our website is possible without the provision of any personal data. Each access to our website and each data request generates data about this process that is temporarily stored and processed in a log file. Before its storage, each data record is anonymised by truncating the IP address. The following data is stored for each access/request:

  • Anonymised IP address
  • Date and time
  • Requested page / name of target URL
  • Data volume transferred
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Message about whether the request was successfully completed

This data is evaluated solely for statistical purposes and to improve our offer and is subsequently deleted.

If you contact us by filling in the form on our website or by sending us an email, the data you provide will be stored with us for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data to others without your consent.

Data Storage

Please note that for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for the subsequent execution of the respective contract, the webshop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner as part of the cookie creation process, as well as the name and the address of the buyer.
Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us when ordering goods or opening a customer account. The data provided by you is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract and/or for the implementation of pre-contractual arrangements. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data will not be transmitted to third parties, with the exception of the transport/shipping company commissioned by us for delivery of the goods and our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations. After cancellation of a shopping process, the respective data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). Name, address, goods purchased and date of purchase will also be stored until the expiry of the product liability period (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art. 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Art. 6 Paragraph 1 a) (consent) and/or b) (necessary for contract fulfilment) of the GDPR.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how users interact with the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the US and is stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address located in a Member State of the European Union or in another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the US and truncated there in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile website activity reports and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet usage.
